On Thursday 16th and Friday 17th December, some of our practice staff will be redeployed to support the delivery of Covid vaccinations. This is in response to Government requirements and instructions from NHS England.
Therefore, some of the routine appointments will need to be cancelled. If you have an appointment on these days, please do not call the surgery to enquire. Patients affected will receive a phone call or text and we will endeavour to reschedule this appointment as soon as possible.
The practice will run an urgent care service only on these dates. If you require urgent assistance, please call us on 01283 818100. Please do not call the surgery for routine matters if at all possible to ensure our lines are open for urgent calls.
This situation could occur again (vaccine availability dependant) and we will be posting further updates as soon as feasibly possible.
Patients now eligible for their Covid booster will receive a text message asking you to book online via a URL link. Appointments are being held at Heartwood Medical Practice. If you have previously received a text and not booked online we will send an additional 2nd text message asap. Alternatively, other vaccination hubs are bookable online through NHS website.
