Please look out for our text message inviting you to book your flu vaccination with us this Autumn. Invites will be sent this week for our first clinic being on Saturday 16th September. Don’t worry if you miss this option, other dates are being added and will be shared out to all eligible patients very soon.
The text will include a link so that you can conveniently book your appointment online, at a time to suit you, without needing to call us.
Invites will be sent to all eligible patients, the criteria is set by the government, per this website. Flu vaccines for the 2023 to 2024 season – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) . As of yet, we haven’t been issued any details with regards to any possible Covid vaccination programme.
We have pre-ordered the correct amount of flu vaccine for our patients and so please support the practice by attending for your appointment with ourselves, to avoid wastage. Having your flu jab in practice also allows us to maintain accurate health records for you and minimise duplicate text reminders. Our Heartwood Nurses and Healthcare Assistants will be delivering the vaccination programme, supported by our GPs and admin team. We look forward to seeing you!
